Temperley London 2021-2022
Starting out as a Product Development Intern, I quickly transitioned into the role of Product Development Assistant. During my time within the Product Development Team I was tasked with various departmental tasks and have gained unforgettable skills and knowledge of the Luxury Fashion Industry. `My main responsibilities included assisting in developing the seasonal collections for RTW, Knitwear and Leathergoods accessories through Fittings, and detailed Technical Specification Sheets. I successfully developed prototypes from Designer's and own illustrations through to production sign off with our vendors. I obtained a responsibility of developing the knitwear collections, fitting and choosing yarn colours alongside my manager and the design team. Throughout my time at Temperley I gained a lot of knowledge of Garment Development, Design and Construction with external factories, specifically Knitwear. I had a large impact on the development of the 22AW and 23 Spring Knit Products. Aswell as my role in the Product Development team, I also took on a extra responsibility in the Production department by helping prepare and cut the MTO and Production Fabric and Trims.
